چکیده

In hazard regression (HARE), the logarithm of the conditional hazard function of a survival time given a covariate is modeled by a sum of polynomial splines and their tensor products. Under appropriate conditions, it has been shown that the (nonadaptive) HARE estimate of the conditional log-hazard function possesses an optimal L 2 rate of convergence. The current paper considers the L oo rates of convergence and the distributional properties of HARE estimates of the conditional hazard, cumulative hazard, survival and density functions. In particular, it will be shown that these estimates are asymptotically normal. Asymptotics for the infinite time ruin probability of a dependent risk model with a constant interest rate and dominatedly varying-tailed claim sizes

This paper mainly considers a nonstandard risk model with a constant interest rate‎, ‎where both the claim sizes and the inter-arrival times follow some certain dependence structures‎. ‎When the claim sizes are dominatedly varying-tailed‎, ‎asymptotics for the infinite time ruin probability of the above dependent risk model have been given‎.

Landslide Hazard Zoning Using Multivariate Linear Regression (Case Study: Kohsar Watershed)

The aim of this research was to generate a landslide hazard zoning map by using the multivariate linear regression method in the Kohsar Watershed, Northwest of Tehran. Initially, we used field surveys, local interview and review of studies outside and inside of Iran. Eleven effective factors were recognized on landslide. These factors included: slope degree, slope aspect, elevation, lithology, ...

Bayesian Analysis of Change - Point Hazard Rate

Change-point hazard rate models arise, for example, in applying \burn-in" techniques to screen defective items and in studying times until undesirable side eeects occur in clinical trials. The classical approach develops estimates of model parameters, with particular interest in the threshold or change-point parameter, but exclusively in terms of asymptotic properties. Such asymptotics can be p...

Estimation of the Hazard Rate Function with a Reduction of Bias and Variance at the Boundary

In the article, we propose a new estimator of the hazard rate function in the framework of the multiplicative point process intensity model. The technique combines the reflection method and the method of transformation. The new method eliminates the boundary effect for suitably selected transformations reducing the bias at the boundary and keeping the asymptotics of the variance. The transforma...
